How Tutoring Works

From your first message to your first session, here's how it goes.

  1. Get math help

    Send me a message through the contact form: the course, and where it started getting hard.

  2. I reply within 24 hours

    With times that work. No sales call.

  3. The first session

    I teach one student at a time, in person at a library, a coffee shop or your home, or online with screen sharing and a digital whiteboard.

  4. Sessions are paid in advance

    Sessions are 1 hour (longer if you need it), $75/hr. You pay every 2 weeks, before the lessons, by Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle or cash. Month to month, no contract: you stay because it's working, not because you signed something.

  5. Cancel or reschedule 24 hours ahead

    Later cancellations and no-shows are charged in full. If I cancel, you're not charged, and we find a new time.
